Awareness, Treatment & Recovery from Anxiety

Join us for this workshop presented by LA County Department of Mental Health. This session is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of anxiety, with a focus on increasing awareness, promoting early recognition, and supporting recovery. Participants will explore how cultural backgrounds can shape the experience and expression of anxiety, and gain insights into the various types of anxiety disorders. The workshop will also offer practical strategies to help reduce anxiety and support overall mental well-being. For adults.
Gardening with Joan

Our Southern California climate gives us great opportunities to grow a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs. In this workshop we will plant a pot of seasonal vegetable and herb plants to take home. We will discuss what care the plants need, as well as some of the benefits of growing our own produce, such as growing varieties not always available for purchase, while saving money by doing so.
