Notable Arrests
Seven suspects were arrested throughout La Mirada for various warrants and narcotics violations.
Robbery
A late-night robbery occurred on the 15000 block of Alondra Boulevard. This incident is still under investigation.
Aggravated Assault
An assault was reported on the 15000 block of Alondra Blvd. No injuries were sustained during the incident.
Residential Burglary
An evening burglary occurred on the 15000 block of Westin Lane. One suspect was arrested during the incident.
Other Structure Burglary
An overnight burglary occurred on the 14700 block of Alondra Blvd. A late-night burglary was reported on the 15300 block of Valley View Avenue. A burglary occurred on the 14700 block of Industry Circle.
Vehicle Burglary
A daytime vehicle burglary occurred on the 12200 block of La Mirada Blvd.
Grand Theft
A catalytic converter theft occurred on the 14200 block of Imperial Highway. A theft was reported on the 16300 block of Trojan Way. A water valve was reported stolen in the area of Escalona Road. and Rosecrans Avenue. Copper wire was stolen on the 16900 block of Knott Avenue. A theft of copper wire was reported in the area of Alondra Boulevard and Heron Avenue.
Grand Theft Auto
A pickup truck was reported stolen on the 13600 block of Valley View Ave. A theft of a pickup truck occurred on the 16300 block of McGill Road.

National Night Out
On August 7th, coinciding with the last summer concert of the season, the City of La Mirada will hold its annual National Night Out against crime event.
National Night Out is an annual nationwide community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make communities safer and more caring places to live.
“At this event provides residents can learn about resources and obtain information about how they can partner with the Public Safety Team to help fight crime,” says Public Safety Supervisor Mary Cipres.
Representatives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, La Mirada Public Safety Team, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), HAM Watch, and the Neighborhood Watch Program will be in attendance.
