Who We’re Looking For:
We are currently seeking contributors in the following areas:
City Beat – News coverage on local government, community events, public safety, and infrastructure.
Sports Writers – Coverage of high school and university sports, including La Mirada High School.
Entertainment Writers – Reviews, previews, and coverage of local events, especially at venues like the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.
Columnists – Opinion pieces, public service updates, and thoughtful commentary on issues impacting La Mirada.
What to Expect:
Freelance & flexible roles — contribute as your schedule allows.
Opportunities to cover real events and get published.
Work can be remote or local (we welcome writers from nearby schools like Cerritos College).
