Jeff Norton of La Mirada had an idea eight years ago that has become so popular it now appears on Google Maps and is internationally known.
Norton, a big fan of the movie National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, began transforming his La Mirada home in 2017 into The Griswold Family Christmas House.
He has added to the display each season and thousands flock to the home to see the 13,000+ lights, take photos and enjoy the holiday spirit.
At the end of this past year, Jeff spoke with our friend Nick Federoff of Things Green for an extensive in-depth interview about some of the thinking that led up to the idea, the logistical challenges, and the planning that goes into it.
