City Report
Nine suspects were arrested throughout La Mirada for various warrants and narcotics violations. Two suspects were arrested for trespassing.
Robbery
A robbery was reported in the area of Foster Rd. and Valley View Ave. This incident is still under investigation.
Aggravated Assault
An assault was reported on the 14400 block of Firestone Blvd.
Residential Burglary
A burglary occurred on the 16000 block of Las Palmeras Ave.
Other Structure Burglary
An overnight burglary occurred on the 16300 block of Phoebe Ave. A burglary was reported on the 12800 block of La Mirada Blvd.
Vehicle Burglary
A vehicle burglary was reported on the 12100 block of Los Coyotes Ave.
Grand Theft
Copper wire was reported stolen on the 14300 block of Alondra Blvd.
Grand Theft Auto
A trailer was reported stolen on the 16900 block of Knott Ave. An overnight vehicle theft occurred on the 13000 block of Clearwood Ave.

Neighborhood Watch Meeting
The Hutchinson Middle School neighborhood in La Mirada is hosting a Neighborhood Watch meeting on Wednesday, August 20, at 6 p.m. at 14014 Salada Road. Residents are encouraged to attend to learn about local crime trends and discover ways to enhance safety in the community. Join your neighbors for this informative session to help make La Mirada a safer place for all.
