First Annual Holiday Mixer Brings Community Spirit to Northwoods Inn

On Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, I had the pleasure of attending the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce’s First Annual Holiday Mixer, held at the always-festive Northwoods Inn, and it did not disappoint. The moment you walked in, you were greeted by twinkling Christmas decor that made the whole evening feel warm, inviting, and unmistakably seasonal.

The mixer itself was quaint in the best possible way – a gathering filled with familiar faces from around La Mirada, along with a handful of new ones eager to jump into the community. Midway through the evening, guests were treated to an unexpected highlight: the Masters of Harmony, who graced the room with their incredible voices, singing classic Christmas songs that instantly elevated the holiday atmosphere. 

The food, served as finger-style bites, was excellent. We enjoyed roasted garlic chicken, beef, fresh salad, flavorful breads, and festive holiday cookies. Business owners introduced themselves, networked, and enjoyed a lively raffle, all contributing to a strong sense of community energy.

Events like this are a reminder of how powerful and synergistic the Chamber truly is — a hub for relationships, collaboration, and business growth in La Mirada.
