Classic Albums Live Presents: ABBEY ROAD, March 12 – 8pm $65, $50, $35

Since 2003, Classic Albums Live has earned a reputation of painstakingly recreating, note-for-note, cut-for-cut, some of rock music's most indelible albums. Now, forty years after The Beatles recorded their final studio album, a hand-picked collection of seventeen musicians will come together to perform, in its entirety, one of the most influential popular music recordings of all time - the rock masterpiece ABBEY ROAD.

Ignoring labels has carved a niche for the Young Dubliners as a fusion band -- not rock, not punk, not Celtic but all of those sounds punctuated with penny whistles, mandolins, and other classically Irish instruments. ED ASNER AS FDR, March 20 – 8pm, $65, $50, $40, Ed Asner, recipient of seven Emmy Awards ("Mary Tyler Moore Show," "Lou Grant") and 16 nominations, five Golden Globe Awards, member of the TV Academy Hall of Fame, and the voice of Carl Fredricksen in Pixar's latest film, Up, will star in the solo performance drama, FDR, based upon Dore Schary's Broadway hit Sunrise at Campobello, which ran 70 weeks on Broadway.  FDR explores the life of one of America's best-loved presidents and the events and decisions that shaped a nation. This powerful play follows the iconic president as he reflects on his years in office, from inauguration to the trials of World War II.

 

THREE DOG NIGHT, March 26 – 8PM, $70, $55, $45

With twenty-one consecutive Top 40 hits and twelve straight gold records, Three Dog Night sold 50 million records between 1969 and 1975. The show goes on when founding members Danny Hutton and Cory Wells and original band members Michael Allsup and Jimmy Greenspoon come to La Mirada to play their classic hits including "Mama Told Me (Not To Come)," "Joy to the World," and "Black and White."

 

DEBBIE REYNOLDS, March 27 – 8pm, $75, $65, $50

From her Academy Award-nominated performance in The Unsinkable Molly Brown to her Tony nominated performance in Irene to her Emmy nominated performance on Will & Grace, Debbie Reynolds has been entertaining audiences around the world for sixty years. Now the true living legend comes to La Mirada Theatre for a special, one-night-only engagement.
