A car stereo and two car batteries were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 14500 block of Rosecrans Ave. An incident was reported on the 13000 block of Clearwood Ave. Sunglasses and a vehicle registration card was taken from the vehicle. Two separate window smash burglaries were reported on the 13300 block of Beach Blvd. A purse, credit cards, a cell phone, and vehicle registration were among the items taken. An attempted burglary was reported on the 14000 block of Elmbrook Dr.

Grand Theft-An electrical breaker was reported stolen from a business on the 15800 block of Imperial Hwy. A grand theft was reported on the 15400 block of Loretta Dr. The suspect is a relative of the victims. A grand theft was reported on the 15300 block of Stanton Ave. A suspect known by the victims was taken into custody in connection with the incident. A work truck containing various tools was reported stolen from the 14200 block of Firestone Blvd. Two circuit breakers were reported stolen from an electrical cabinet of a vacant building on the 14400 block of Alondra Blvd.

Grand Theft Vehicle-An older model Volkswagen was reported stolen from the 14000 block of Estero Rd. The vehicle was recovered in Lakewood Sheriff's Station's jurisdiction with major stripping damage. An attempted vehicle theft was reported on the 14300 block of Industry Cir. A trailer previously reported stolen from La Mirada was recovered on the 14400 block of Industry Cir. A Ford Explorer was reported stolen from the 12300 block of Oxford Dr. The vehicle was recovered by Norwalk Station two days later. A stolen vehicle was recovered on the 14700 block of Firestone Blvd. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Whittier Police Department's jurisdiction last month.
