Today more than one million Californians drive alternative fuel-ready vehicles, but the majority of these drivers do not have access to renewable fuels. Numerous cars and trucks from manufacturers such as Chevy, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Mercedes are E85 Flex Fuel compatible, and every diesel vehicle can run on Propel biodiesel blends. Drivers can simply switch back and forth between renewable fuels (Flex Fuel or biodiesel), and their petroleum equivalents (gasoline or diesel) any time they want. Vehicles that can run on E85 can be identified by the manufacturer’s yellow gas cap and Flex Fuel badge, or through the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Drivers can also check their vehicle’s E85 compatibility on Propel’s website at: www.propelfuels.com/driveE85.

Drivers and fleets can track and report CO2 emission reductions from their use of renewable fuels through Propel’s proprietary CleanDrive® program (www.propelfuels.com/cleandrive). Logging in at each fill up, CleanDrive members receive personalized emissions reports showing their reductions in CO2 emissions, barrels of oil displaced, and equivalent annual impact of mature trees. Along with thousands of loyal individual consumers, Propel customers include hundreds of private and public fleets, including the United States Postal Service, the California Department of General Services, and the Department of Transportation.
