Grand Theft Auto-Two shipping containers were stolen on the 14700 block of Industry Cir. A sedan was stolen on the 13500 block of Brazo Rd. A sedan was stolen on the 15700 block of Valley View Ave. A sedan was stolen on the 13900 block of Bora Dr. A truck was stolen on the 15800 block of Imperial Hwy.

If You See Something, Say Something

One of the most valuable tools the Sheriff's Department has to keep La Mirada safe is the eyes and ears of its residents looking out for their neighborhoods. If you see unusual activity in your neighborhood, call the La Mirada Community Sheriff's Station at (562) 902-2960.

If it's a crime in progress, always call 9-1-1.Maybe it's a business solicitor going door to door.  Sometimes those turn out to be knock-knock burglars who find unoccupied homes, and then go around back to try to break in.  Maybe it's people who appear to be utility workers with vests or hard hats, but without official vehicles or ID.  Maybe it's just something in your neighborhood that is unusual and has you concerned.

Report all crime to the La Mirada Community Sheriff's Station. Crime cannot be controlled or prevented if it is not reported. By reporting crimes and suspicious activities, you can protect yourself and others.
