Each of the submitted screenplays was reviewed and judged by a panel, including industry professionals, CMA special projects coordinator Kean Salzar and CMA screenwriting professor Camille Tucker. Each finalist also received valuable written feedback on their submissions. Having professional Hollywood development and insight is one of the many perks of submitting to our screenwriting competition.

"In its second year, the aim of Biola’s Cinema and Media Arts writing contest is to locate, support and develop talented Christian High School storytellers," said CMA Interim Chair, Dr. Gerald Fisher. "We are excited to be able to offer them an expanded screenwriting emphasis that includes writing for TV, shorts, games and other forms of new media."
