Vehicle Burglary-A window smash burglary was reported on the 15900 block of Alicante Rd. Various items including sporting equipment were taken from the vehicle. An incident was reported on the 15200 block of Normandy Ln. A garage door opener was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 15500 block of Escalona Rd.
Grand Theft -Four grand thefts were reported last week. Copper pipe was reported stolen on the 14700 block of Northam St. A theft of brass back-flow hardware and piping was reported on the 14600 block of Firestone Blvd. Electronics were reported stolen from a residence on the 14300 block of Ramo Dr. The incident is currently under investigation. A theft was reported on the 15500 block of Ocaso Ave. Rims and tires were stolen off a vehicle that was parked at th
e location.
Grand Theft Vehicle-An older model Honda Civic was reported stolen from the 13800 block of Imperial Hwy. The vehicle was recovered the same day by the South Gate Police Department. Three vehicles stolen from other police jurisdictions were recovered in La Mirada last week. A truck reported stolen out of Santa Ana was recovered on the 15800 block of Imperial Hwy. A trailer stolen from Torrance was recovered on the 14500 block of Firestone Blvd. An older model Honda Civic was recovered near Adelfa Dr. and Ocaso Ave. The vehicle had been reported stolen by Downey Police.
