Jerry Bernstein, who has more ink in his veins, is Editor-in-Chief for the entire newspaper group. Jerry has over 57 years experience in community newspapers and has been associated with the (then) Santa Ana Register, San Gabriel Valley Daily Tribune, Pasadena Star News, Arcadia Tribune, and the La Puente Journal.

Most of you know Tony Aiello; we are very excited to have him aboard. Born and raised in La Mirada, Tony is very involved in the community in which he grew up-and now raises his own family. In June of 2001 Tony debuted a weekly lifestyle column in the Southeast Cities Tribune Newspaper and in 2003 he launched the La Mirada Blog (www.lamiradablog.com), a website that was devoted to covering news and information locally-one of the very first to create a local "Internet Newspaper".

Randy Economy is our group reporter and online editor and has been in the business for over 30 years. Randy was the Editor of the Norwalk Herald America, Public Information Office (PIO) for the City of Norwalk, PIO City of Cypress, and a political advisor to many local state and federal elected officials.

We bring tons of community newspaper experience but also recognize the value of partnerships in the community. We will be partnering with the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce and invite other residents to join in and help us make this a great community newspaper. The Lamplighter can be found online at www.lmlamplighter.com, on Facebook at La Mirada Lamplighter, and on Twitter @lmlamplighter. Our email is lmlamplighter@gmail.com
I also want to personally thank La Mirada City Manager Tom Robinson and his staff for their professional guidance and support. Together we will live up to the legacy of the past Lamplighter.
