Meals on Wheels La Mirada is seeking volunteers to deliver meals.

The program is dedicated to helping the disabled, aged and chronically or temporarily ill by providing home-delivered meals for regular and special diets at a nominal fee.

All meals are delivered by volunteers.

Volunteer coaches are needed for various sports programs in La Mirada.

Stop by any city of La Mirada facility and fill out a Volunteer in Action application for the desired sport.

Volunteers 16 years of age or older are encouraged to participate in the city's Volunteer in Action (VIA) program.

A wide variety of programs are available throughout the city at different venues as part of the VIA.

You must complete application, be interviewed and fingerprinted, and attend an orientation class.

The La Mirada Chapter of the NJB (National Junior Basketball) is gearing up for their 25^th anniversary and they are looking for anyone including charter board members, old coaches, etc. to help them confirm league's inaugural year being either 1985 or 1986. Information is needed.
